South of Bordeaux, directly behind the beautiful coast and among extensive pine woods, lies holiday resort Village Ocelandes.

In the park, there are a spacious swimming pool, a separate children’s paddling pool, tennis court, jeu-de-boules court and two children’s playgrounds.

Other well-known towns in this district are Arcachon, Dax, Biarritz, Bayonne, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Lourdes and Spanish San Sebastian.

The beaches on the south coast of the Atlantic Ocean are rated among the most beautiful of France. They are covered with fine sand and are long and wide.

On the nearby beaches of Contis-Plage, Cap de l’Homy and Mimizan-Plage sunbathing is delightful and you can enjoy the often spectacular surf.
